Here's the eighth card in the "Isekai Tarot Card Deck" project I am developing - Temperance! The character "Shiroe" comes from the anime "Log Horizon". The Temperance card symbolizes many things: balance, moderation, inner calm, perspective, tranquility, harmony, patience, cooperation, and understanding. Shiroe is emblematic of this self-mastery and wisdom - his story is one of using his heightened sense-making to bring harmony and order to the chaotic and lawless MMORPG land that he and many others suddenly find themselves reborn into.

For any of you anime fans out there, this is the eighth piece of card artwork that I am illustrating for a tarot deck themed around the genre of "isekai." For those not in the know, "isekai" is a Japanese word that translates to "different world." It's a genre wherein the protagonist often comes from Earth and is transported to a fantasy world. The characters I am illustrating for this deck come from some of the more popular isekai shows over the past several years.
