Here's the twenty-second and final major arcana card in the "Isekai Tarot Card Deck" project I am developing - Death!

Satella, from the show "Re:Zero", is considered to be the main antagonist of the series. 400 years prior to the events of the show, she became the Witch of Envy and is responsible for the "Great Calamity" that shattered society to it's core. That incarnation of Satella was sealed away, but appears to be the reason why Subaru (the main protagonist) was brought into the fantasy world in the first place. Due to her influence and possessive nature of Subaru, she is the reason he is able to return to the past through his death. Satella ferries Subaru back in time constantly so as to keep him alive, and forbids him from speaking the truth of this curse to anyone around him.

The Death card is unlikely to represents a physical death. Typically it implies an end, possibly of a relationship or interest, and therefore implies an increased sense of self-awareness. It's upright meanings include: Endings, Failure, Letting go of attachments, Mortality, Profound change, Severe illness. It's reverse meanings can indicate a resistance to change, or living unaware.

Satella subjects Subaru to these meanings in his constant cycle of death and "resetting"; with each of incarnation the result of a failure. He must let go of his attachments to start anew, reflect upon himself and his actions, and allow his life's ending make way for a new beginning.

I have an outline of the characters I will be assigning to each Major Arcana, though I would love to hear any suggestions for characters to include.
